The schoolmaster's house

The main floor has a living room with a fireplace and authentic chimney. The adjoining dining room has a view of the rear garden. There is a second lounge in which to play a variety of board games. Wi-fi is available throughout the house.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, an oven, a sizeable fridge with small freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave oven. Plenty of utensils and crockery are provided for you to cook and serve delicious meals. In the laundry room there are extra fridge, washing machine and dryer. Also a bathroom is located downstairs.

Since 2025, “Tourisme Wallonie” (TW) is the new name replacing the “Commissariat Général au Tourisme” (CGT).

Gîtes are now called “Meublé de Tourisme”. The familiar wall plaques “gîte rural” will disappear and will not be replaced.

The five charming bedrooms, two of them with a sink, are furnished with twin beds . One has a cot. There are two bathrooms with sink, shower and toilet.

Children can play in the large garden, old school playground or in the playground near the front door.

In the middle of the garden there is a fire pit for campfires.

There is plenty of parking space available both on and off the premises.

Bicycles or motorbikes can be stored in the garage on request.

The classroom

In case you require extra space, you can also rent the old original classroom.

This extra space with a view of the garden and of the playground can serve for recreational purposes, as a banquet hall, meeting room, or -for workshops like yoga... Extra tables, chairs and crockery -in an equiped supplementary kitchen- are provided for up to 50 people.
